Christine Giella MA, LPC

Fort Worth and Dallas

Christine believes that counseling is a life-changing experience when individuals are heard, understood, and invited to change by an empathetic listener. She seeks to create a safe and hopeful environment where clients can explore growth, develop healthy coping skills, and emerge from old patterns of thinking and believing. Christine has experience in working with young professional women, college students, struggling adolescents, premarital couples, young married couples, individuals struggling with depression/anxiety, those dealing with difficult family situations, and individuals experiencing transitions in life.

Christine is passionate about helping her clients relate with themselves and others in deeper and more satisfying ways. She encourages the exploration of the client’s self, the impact of their family system, and an increased understanding of their personal history to move towards obtaining a beautiful life. Alongside this exploration, Christine also teaches clients concrete skills for tangible and lasting change. Clients who interact with Christine will walk away with a clearer understanding of themselves, the ability to draw meaning and purpose from their struggles, and how to exercise behaviors that move them toward a healthier and holistic life.

Christine earned a bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communication from Texas Christian University. While completing her master’s in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary, Christine had the opportunity to work alongside Dr. John Townsend in his Townsend Leadership Program with the unique model of Competency + Character. Christine is Prepare & Enrich certified and has completed her training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
