Kelly earned a Bachelors degree in Government from the University of Virginia. She received her Masters degree in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, behavioral issues, past trauma, and relational conflict.
As a counselor Kelly seeks to provide a safe environment where clients can process their past and present story and move toward growth. She works to meet the client where they are and walk alongside them in their journey. She believes that healing can come through safe and healthy relationships.
At Restoration, Kelly provides individual counseling, individual DBT skills training, and leads DBT skills groups. She teaches in the areas of mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness with others. She believes in the work of DBT and enjoys walking with clients as they develop skills for a healthier life.
