under the supervision of
Geoff Weckel, PsyD
Fort Worth
Maggie works with adolescent and young adult women to address anxiety, depression, perfectionism, and relational wounds. She is experienced in teaching dialectical behavior therapy skills for mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Through warmth and genuineness, Maggie aims to create a nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to express themselves and process life. It is her joy to watch clients grow in openness, flexibility, and self-assurance as psychological health improves.
From Texas Christian University, Maggie earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She graduated with a master’s degree of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University in May of 2023. Prior to counseling, Maggie worked in vocational ministry with teens, college students, and young adults. Maggie operates from a Christian worldview and embraces the opportunity to discuss faith, as desired by her clients.
